7/11 – Mumbai Blasts

Mumbai, one of the entrenched, densely populated city in India was mourning the death of hundreds. Series of bomb blasts in local suburban trains during peak hours rocked the commercial city of India.

Hundreds of innocent people took the train as usual not knowing that today they themselves were inviting death. Few were lucky enough to survive with injuries. But the dreadful memories of nearing the death would persist in their minds forever.

Who are the barbaric people behind such acts? What do they achieve in doing such brutal things? Do they sit and laugh and celebrate over their victory? Are they born with all hatred in their minds and brains? What pleasure do they derive in harming fellow humans. Did these innocent lives hurt them by any means? Let them know that their sins would punish them someday.

On one hand, when hundreds are grieving the death of their loved ones and praying for the well being of seriously injured, on the other hand our politicians ignite the enragement by criticizing opposite parties. They are opportunistic and never bother to look around for solutions. Except the politicians, nobody cares whether the organization behind such inhuman acts consists of Hindus or Muslims or the hand of opposite political party. All we care is punish whoever is against the survival of human race.
There were several Muslims and Hindus who were wounded in the blasts; they hardly knew the religion of the person who saved them. So never blame a religion/caste/community/nationality for what happened on this black Tuesday.

Amidst such chaotic situation Mumbai is resilient again. She stands tall and keeps her Wheels turning. Well she has to, for she has given lives to thousands of rich, poor and stranded.
Kudos to Mumbaikars who did a great job in the rescue operations and saved uknown lives!!!
